Samuel Muluneh

PhD Student in Social Anthropology

Samuel Muluneh Wolie is a PhD Candidate in Social Anthropology at Addis Ababa University, with a specialization in Medical Anthropology. He has conducted in-depth ethnographic research on healthcare access and cultural dynamics at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital. With expertise in participatory action research and policy analysis, he has contributed to public health initiatives addressing HIV/AIDS and traditional healing practices. His MA thesis on poverty and culture in Southern Tigray was published in Germany.

As a researcher in the ZAFI Project, he leads community engagement and investigates the social dimensions of zoonotic febrile illness in Ethiopia.
