Dr. Mureithi is an accomplished immunologist and research scientist with extensive laboratory experience in infectious disease and immunology research. She has led advanced laboratory studies in HIV, mucosal immunity, and infectious disease biomarker discovery. She brings expertise in assay development, sample analysis, and quality assurance, ensuring that biological data collected during the study are accurate, reliable, and informative. Her experience in managing complex laboratory workflows and mentoring laboratory teams strengthens ZAFI’s capacity to investigate the biological drivers of febrile illnesses in Kenyan populations.
